# How to buy crypto

## Buy Bitcoin, ETH, USDC, or USDT instantly in the Casa app using your Buy/Sell cash balance. Orders process instantly with email confirmation.

Before you buy, make sure you have cash in your Buy/Sell account. If you haven't deposited yet, see [How to deposit cash via ACH](https://support.casa.io/knowledge/buy-sell-deposit-ach?hsLang=en) or [How to deposit cash via wire transfer](https://support.casa.io/knowledge/buy-sell-deposit-wire?hsLang=en).

**Steps:**

1. Go to the **Buy/Sell** tab and tap **"Buy."**  
2. Choose the asset you want to buy. Bitcoin (BTC) is selected by default — you can also buy ETH, USDC, or USDT.  
3. Enter the amount.  
4. Tap **"Review Order"** to confirm the details  
5. Swipe to confirm your purchase. Most orders are processed instantly.  
6. You'll receive an email confirmation.

**Important:** Crypto purchased through “Buy/Sell” remains in your Zero Hash custodial account. For enhanced security, we **strongly recommend** transferring it to your Casa vault (or pay key) for self-custody protection.
