# How do I open a Zero Hash account in Casa?

## To use Buy/Sell in Casa, you first need to create a Zero Hash account. This is a one-time setup that takes ~10 minutes.

**Steps:**

1. Open the Casa app and tap the **Buy/Sell** tab.
2. Tap **"Create your account"**
3. Review and accept the Privacy Policy.
4. Complete the identity verification (KYC) process. You'll be asked for your name, address, date of birth, and a government-issued ID.
5. Submit your details. Approval is usually instant.
6. Once approved, you'll see a confirmation and can proceed to link your bank account.

**Privacy Note:** Casa does not have access to the personal information you provide to Zero Hash. Your identity remains anonymous to us — we only identify you by your email address.
